People Are Hurting Out There.

People are going through so much. And the Word of God is a great source of comfort and hope. Some people don't like to talk much but they go through a lot. Let's pray for everyone grieving in silence.

But sometimes I feel it's good to talk about it not for attention but for prayers and emotional support.

I lost 2 cousins in the space of one week. One died yesterday of Cancer and the other one died last week Sunday of Cancer(Abroad). Also, my husband's niece will be buried today.

The pandemic has made things hard for people to meet or travel distances to support people they love. And sometimes, people still visit anyway when it's someone close. Some Nigerian cultures refuse older people to going to funerals of younger people. As a mental health professional, I believe this just delays the grieving process. But I understand it's the way it is in some traditions.

I recently just completed my cpd course on grief and bereavement counselling and God has also used that to help me understand a few more things I wasn't clear about. But unanswered questions are still there and only God knows but He remains Faithful.

Let's pray for all those hurting and mourning. Let's pray God's wind of comfort blows in warmth and hope to their hearts, in Jesus Name 🙏

God bless you 🙏
